Photo's from past Alex's Run For A Reason Events Despite the wicked weather last year, Alex’s Run For A Reason continues to be overwhelming success on all accounts! It is absolutely necessary to mention and thank all of the many people and businesses that contributed their time, energy and resources to ensure the days success. It warms our heart and restores our faith to see so many people come together to see these events through. Thank you to all our sponsors, the businesses that donated prizes for our raffle drawing, businesses that donated the refreshments and the individuals that donated their talents for the children’s activities. It is so very important for us to keep Alex’s memory and spirit alive. We want to make sure that the impact she had had on many will forever carry on. The truly wonderful thing about this event event is that not only do the people who knew and love Alex get to celebrate her life but so do the many others who never got the chance to meet her. To date over $200,000 has been raised for the Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood(SUDC) program in Alex’s memory. Monies raised have been used to fund The SUDC Research Project, The Long QT Research Study, The SUDC Awareness Campaign and the Annual Newsletter. Thanks to your generosity strides are being made in all areas of SUDC. We are forever grateful for the role you have played in helping us create this incredible tribute to our daughter. Alex’s love is shining down upon us all. We look forward to seeing you all again at this year’s event on October 24, 2010!
